Who We Are

A coalition of residents, community groups, clergy and city workers including SEIU Local 721 and neighborhood based groups such as the Los Angeles Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) who are tired of banks hoodwinking the city into paying to maintain properties they own. We stand for strong, stable communities that hold all stakeholders including Banks and lending institutions to the same standards residents are held to promote a safe and healthy environment for children and families.

When a home is left vacant the cost to the city runs high. These properties attract crime and are vulnerable to arson and accidental fire, health and safety hazards. They also contribute to lower property values and lost tax revenue. Read more »
